Dear Peter,

I arrived in New Zealand a few days ago, and it was a pretty good feeling when I got a stamp in my passport saying that I could "remain indefinitely" in New Zealand. It was a long road for us to get my visa issued. Not only had we to navigate the usual forms, check and tests, but as you know my application was complicated due to some medical issues.

My partner and I had some sleepless nights wondering if we would ever get through it. But of course once we had the help of yourself, things became much easier. We could very easily have been bogged down by definitions of acceptable standards of health, complicated responses from (and replies to) the medical assessor. But your intervention and help made things a lot easier for us. It was fantastic to get advice from someone who knew what was what. I am certain that with your help I got my visa sooner, and easier, than I could have done myself. I am still not sure how you got it for me without the need of medical waiver!

Thanks again for everything.
