We were introduced to Peter by a mutual friend. Having arrived in New Zealand on a 3 year work permit we were intending to apply for our residency under the ‘Work to Residency’ rule – a process which we had to wait 2 years before we could even apply, so a meeting with Peter was an opportunity to establish what the process would entail further down the line. At the initial meeting we were both immediately impressed with Peter’s personable and professional approach. He went through our situation in detail and then tabled a proposal. Based on our previous experience with the Immigration Service it appeared a little too good to be true. However once Peter had gone through the process it was obvious that this was the way forward for us

We got the relevant documents together gave them to Pete and in what appeared to be the shortest amount of time, he dropped in with our newly stamped passports to let us know our application had been accepted and that we were now Permanent Residents of New Zealand. To use a Kiwi expression - he was just ‘on to it’ all the way.

In the preceding years, I have had a number of experiences with employees who have been applying for their residency, using various other agents or attempting the process themselves. None of these seemed as easy or straight forward as Pete had made ours. Mate you are one of a kind!

Thinking back on the whole process, my enduring memory is sitting having a glass of wine with my family & Pete and thinking – fantastic that’s the rest of our lives in our new adopted home sorted.
